Vidyanjali

Vidyanjali 2.0 is an amalgamation of the words Vidya, meaning "correct knowledge" or "clarity," and Anjali, meaning "an offering with both hands" in the Sanskrit language.

Vidyanjali is an initiative led by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, aiming to enhance schools through community and private sector engagement nationwide. This endeavor seeks to establish connections between schools and a diverse range of volunteers from the Indian Diaspora, including young professionals, school alumni, current and retired educators, government officials, professionals, among others.

Vidyanjali offers two main areas of focus: "Participate in School Service/Activity" and "Assets/Material/Equipment," where volunteers can provide support to fortify government and government-aided schools.
